What if cell phones disappeared? Would any of this be true?

So, I did a little thought experiment. What if cell phones were suddenly removed from my high school.

Would any of the following be true?

• Student attention would decline.

• Students’ ability to reflect on their learning would be disrupted.

• Focus during instruction would decrease.

• The school community would degrade.

• Friendships in school would deteriorate. 

• Semester tests scores would drop. 

• More students would be depressed.
